To: All Members

From: Chris Shields, Chair, Board Development Committee

Date: October 20, 2023

Each year, FVREB invites members interested in running for election for the Board of Directors through a ‘Call for Nominations.’

Starting several months in advance of the Board’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) the FVREB Board Development Committee (formerly the Nominating Committee) welcomes interest from eligible candidates for the election of Directors and Officers and provides the FVREB Chair with a written report recommending candidates.

The Committee, made up of a group of member volunteers, is responsible for facilitating the nomination process and is committed to ensuring that all members are given a fair opportunity to run as a Director.

This year, the Committee is accepting applications between October 20, 2023, and December 28, 2023, for the election of the 2024 FVREB Board of Directors at the AGM on February 29, 2024.
