Dear Members, Access to the proxy assignment and authorization process for the 2026 FVREB Annual General Meeting is now available on FVREB Connect. We have streamlined the process this year, allowing members to submit, sign, and track proxy authorization requests electronically through the My FVREB tab on FVREB Connect. Proxy Authorization Process 1. Start Your Request - Log in to FVREB Connect
- On the home page click the My FVREB tab, then select My Requests
- Click Start or Proxy Authorization to begin the process
2. Select a Proxy Holder - Search for a proxy holder by Name or Member ID (six-digit number from the Member Card). Only active and eligible members will appear in the search results.
- If a member has already been approved as a proxy holder or has an outstanding authorization, the system will not allow a duplicate request.
- Assistants may initiate the request on behalf of a member. The system provides an option to select the member for whom the request is being submitted. The member must still complete and sign the authorization themselves.
3. Create the Request - After selecting the proxy holder, click Create to generate the authorization request.
4. Sign the Document - Once the request is created, the proxy holder and the authorizer will receive a notification to sign the document. The “sign” button may be accessed from the email notification or directly from the request in My Requests.
- Notifications will be sent to both the authorizer and the proxy holder. Follow the DocuSign prompts to complete the authorization.
5. Approval Process - Upon signing, members will receive notifications confirming submission and pending approval.
- The request status will be updated to Waiting for Approval in My Requests.
- FVREB staff will review the request within one to two business days.
6. Final Status - Once reviewed by FVREB staff, the request will be either Approved or Declined.
- A notification will be sent to the authorizer, and the request status will update accordingly.
- In the event of a declined request, members may submit a new request if necessary.
Note: The deadline to submit proxy requests is 4:30 pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2026. A step-by-step video is available on FVREB Connect to guide members through the entire proxy authorization process. For help with any issues or technical difficulties, please contact FVREB Helpdesk. Members who have not yet done so are encouraged to RSVP for the Annual General Meeting at their earliest convenience. The RSVP is for attendance planning purposes only, and registration will still be required on-site at the AGM. Sincerely, Baldev Gill, Chief Executive Officer |
